مطالعه تجربی و تئوری اثر نیتراته‌کردن بر رفتار تماس لغزشی در دوره گذار سایش

چکیده

افزایش مقاومت سایشی اجزای مکانیکی همواره برای سازندگان قطعات مکانیکی مهم بوده است. یک روش رایج برای عملیات سطحی، نیتراته‌کردن است. در این پژوهش، ضریب اصطکاک و حجم سایش دیسک‌های نیتراته شده و  معمولی به دو صورت عددی و تجربی مطالعه شده‌است. آزمایش‌ها با استفاده از  دستگاه تست سایش پین بر روی دیسک بر روی نمونه‌های فولاد AISI 4140 انجام شده است. مدل عددی بر پایه مفهوم تقسیم بار بمنظور پیش‌بینی ضریب اصطکاک، دمای سطح، ضخامت فیلم روان‌کار و نرخ سایش گسترش یافته است. نتایج برای دیسک‌های نیتراته شده نشان می‌دهد که با افزایش سرعت، ضخامت فیلم روان‌کار افزایش یافته و در نتیجه حجم سایش کاهش می‌یابد. از طرف دیگر با افزایش بار اعمالی، ضخامت فیلم روان‌کار کاهش یافته و در نتیجه حجم سایش افزایش می‌یابد. در مورد دیسک‌های نیتراته شده، حجم سایش فقط تابعی از بار اعمالی است و بسرعت وابسته نیست. نمودارهای حجم سایش بر حسب مسافت لغزش نشان می‌دهد که دوره گذار تقریبا قبل از 1500 متر به پایان می‌رسد و بعد از آن نرخ سایش پایا می‌شود. مقایسه نتایج تجربی و تئوری ضریب اصطکاک و حجم سایش نشان می‌دهد که مدل تئوری ارایه ‌شده توانایی قابل قبولی برای پیش‌بینی ضریب اصطکاک و نرخ سایش در مواد عادی دارد.
